About me - First Aid Instructor - Gareth Haldenby
With over 20 years of experience in first aid and related activities, I am passionate about teaching life-saving skills. In 2021, I became a qualified First Aid Training Provider through Nuco and established my own business to share this vital knowledge.
I hold a Certificate in Education, which, combined with my teaching experience, has given me a strong understanding of how people learn. I adapt my delivery to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring that every course is accessible, engaging, and easy to understand. All of my courses emphasize practical, hands-on training, so you leave feeling confident and prepared to respond in an emergency.
Prior to establishing my First Aid business, I worked as a Firefighter, gaining invaluable real-world experience in emergency situations. I bring these skills and practical insights directly into my training, giving learners the benefit of hands-on expertise.
Alongside teaching First Aid, I also work as a Technical Advisor for adventurous activities and actively instruct outdoor pursuits. My passion for working and playing in the outdoors allows me to provide specialized, outdoor-specific First Aid training, tailored for climbers, hillwalkers, and adventure enthusiasts.
